The DAVIC/DVB-RCCL cable modem interoperability test specification defines the test strategy, test plan and test descriptions of the tests to be used to determine interoperability between cable modems and head-ends (INAs) from different vendors. These tests focus on interoperability between Class A EuroModem devices. The test address issues such as physical layer, MAC layer and higher protocol layer functionality, and uni-directional (cable modem to head-end and head-end to cable modem) and bi-directional (cable modem to cable modem) performance capability.
